Artists can now submit artwork for the 2024 NCW Juried Art Show & Sale!

The Wenatchee Valley Museum and Cultural Center is partnering with the NCW Arts Alliance to showcase our region's artists. The 2024 NCW Juried Art Show will open to the public on Friday, June 7.

All artists 18 years and older residing in Chelan, Douglas, Grant, Kittitas, Okanogan, or Yakima Counties are eligible to apply. Registration will be held on Friday & Saturday on May 17-18 between 10 AM to 4 PM at the Museum.

All submitted art entries must be original, for sale, and not more than two years old, finished and ready to hang or install safely.

Turn your attention inward while meditating at the Wells House

On May 2, 9, 23, 30, and June 6, join Certified MBSR Teacher Kari Lyons-Price in this meditation class series, working together to cultivate self-awareness and mental focus through mindfulness.

This 5-Week series is great for beginners, for those who have dabbled, as well as those who already have a steady practice. In each session there will be a balance of discussion of concepts and mindfulness practice. This is a health education course and all are welcome. Chairs are provided, but you can bring your own mat or sitting cushion for sitting if you choose.

Tickets are running out for our 9th annual Spring

Tickets are running out for our 9th annual Spring Tea at the Wells House! Join us in a traditional English-style tea party at the historic Wells House on Saturday, May 11, starting at 2PM.

Wear your finest hat and daintiest gloves for this delightful afternoon, featuring classic tea blends, delectable pastries, a presentation on Ukrainian egg painting, and a Silent Auction. If tea is not your cup of tea and you are over the age of 21, you can purchase some sparkling wine instead.

The winner of the Quilt Raffle will be chosen that day. Attendance at the Spring Tea is not required to win the Quilt Raffle. Tickets are $1 each and can be purchased at our front desk. For more information, call us at (509)-888-6240.

Spring Tea tickets are $40 for members and $45 for non-members. Registration is required.

Dive into the world of 3D printing with the Wenatc

Dive into the world of 3D printing with the Wenatchee Valley Museum and Cultural Center during this introductory class series!

Downstairs in our Makerspace, students will learn how to design parts, prepare them for printing, and operate the printer itself, with a seasoned mechanical engineer with 41 years of experience in the manufacturing industry.

Classes are Tuesdays and Thursdays between April 23rd-June 4th, from 4:30PM to 6:30PM. Cost is $50 per student to be paid upon admission. Spots are limited. Payment can be made by calling our front desk at (509)-888-6240 or by coming to the museum in person.

Saddle up for a silent film screening of Buster Ke

Saddle up for a silent film screening of Buster Keaton's "Go West," with live musical accompaniment by Thomas Kozina on the pipe organ this Friday on April 19 at 7PM!

Silent film icon Buster Keaton both starred and directed in this western film, with Keaton playing a drifter named "Friendless" as he journeys west to California to make his fortune. Watch as he wrangles cattle, befriends a cow named "Brown Eyes," and orchestrates a series of hijinks along the way.

Popcorn will be provided, with alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available for purchase.

Tickets are $5 for members and $7 for non-members. Registration is recommended and can be found in the linktree in our bio.
