Come to the Museum, Pose with Coyote!
One of the things that makes the Wenatchee Valley community so special is our commitment to and appreciation of public art. The Wenatchee Art on the Avenues organization is the driving force that has brought more than 85 original pieces to the streets and sidewalks of Wenatchee.
Some of the pieces are just visiting, and some are permanent, like our locally-famous Reading Coyote who sits on the steps of the museum annex on South Mission Street, near the bus stop. He’s a favorite of visitors and locals alike and most who pass by take the opportunity to get a photo with him.
We’d love to see YOUR photos with Coyote too! Just posted them to our Facebook page here, tweet them at us here and/or post them to Instagram using the hashtag #NCWlove. We’ll keep an eye out and share your shots with Reading Coyote via social media.
Now get out there, enjoy our public art and snap some pics!
