Kittitas County Geology & Native History Tour

June 14 @ 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Explore Geology & Cultural History with Randy Lewis & Nick Zentner!

On Saturday, June 14, starting at 8:30 AM, join Geologist Nick Zentner and Native storyteller Randy Lewis as they guide you through the geological past and rich culture of Kittitas County.

Begin your adventure in this caravan-style tour, driving through the breathtaking landscapes of the Ellensburg area and watch the region’s history come to life. Whether you are traveling from Seattle or Wenatchee, this caravan-style tour will give you the opportunity to commute to each stop on the tour in the comfort of your own vehicle.

The caravan will make special stops at the Kittitas County Historical Museum and Olmstead Place State Park, where you will enjoy expert-led lectures and discussions that connect the land’s geologic wonders with its cultural history.

Cost per car is $80 for members and $120 for non-members. Registration is required. Registrants will need a Discovery Pass this tour. Learn more about how to get a Discovery Pass here and here.
