Museum-to-You Boxes
These self-contained educational kits contain objects and activity guides for hands-on learning, designed to supplement classroom curricula or provide a club activity. Each box contains an Educator’s Guide. Museum-To-You boxes rent for no more than two weeks at a time. The weekly rate for each box is $15.00 per box. Payment is due when your pick up your Museum-To-You Box. You must reserve your box no less than two weeks in advance, and have confirmation from the Education Department. All boxes will be sanitized before scheduled pick-up date.
The Museum-To-You Box will be inventoried at pick-up and drop-off. The price of any missing or damaged items will be charged. Failure to return the box on expected return date will result in a $10.00 fine per day. Payment may be made in cash or credit card. Once we have received your paperwork, you will receive an email with confirmation details. Please contact the Education Department at 509-888-6260 with any questions.
Natural History Museum-to-You Boxes
Bird Box: Soar into the wonderful world of birds with this box. Includes a teacher guide, specimens, feathers, owl pellet dissection, and more!
Salmon Box: Explore the life cycle of salmon. Includes specimens, activities and videos. In September, reservation is limited to one week.
Cultural History Museum-to-You Boxes
Clovis Culture: Use archaeological data from the internationally recognized East Wenatchee Clovis Site to learn about people who lived on the Columbia Plateau 11,000 years ago. Includes artifact replicas, bones and maps.
Wenatchi Culture: Learn about the resilient, resourceful culture of the indigenous Wenatchi people and their yearly cycle of life. Includes script, artifacts and activities.
